Our Story 

Located in Haut Saint-Antoine N.B. Cormier Meat Market began its operation in 1972 with Paul Cormier and his father Leo. Leo had a beef  farm that he would slaughter and sell to local stores.  Paul always had an interest in the field.  After working for Hub Meat Packers and Sobey's Paul decided to open Cormier Meat Market with his father Leo in (1972). Paul became the owner in 1986 after his father passed away.  In 1993 his son Luc joined the business.  This would represent the 5th generation of Cormier's in the meat business.  Paul's mom also worked with them in the beginning.   

In 1993 we began making our own sausages known under “Luc Sausages”.  The  Meat Market was the only one in the region making its own sausages.  At that time four full time employees and two part time were working at the Market.  

In 2003 Cormier Meat opened a new facility on rue Principale in Saint-Antoine.  The new facility will offer better services to customers and more varieties.   At that time another meat cutter joined the staff. Since 2003 many more home made specialties have been added.  We'd like to mention that a least 10 different varieties of sausages exist at the moment. 
   
Today in 2016 we operate two establishments with employees at both locations. The staff has increased quite considerably over the years with 15 to 18 employees full and part time.  Paul's wife Bernice has always worked with the bookeeping and now Paul's daughter Lise does most of it,              

We assure deliveries in different establishments in Kent county, Moncton and surrounding areas such as restaurants, nursing homes, convenience stores, schools, etc.
  
Paul and Luc have been dealing with farmers that they know will provide the quality beef customers have come to expect.
